Roger Stroud has over 12 years of experience teaching courses across a
complete range of networking technologies and has lectured on a guest basis
at Portsmouth University. Roger has been associated with the UK training
organization, ITeC, and later qualified as a teacher in further education.
During this period he was a delegate, and presented to, the ITeC Internet
Working Group. He now gives training seminars for Solution Technology
through the UK office, including Fibre Channel, SAS, iSCSI, and InfiniBand.
Roger’s background is in Electronics Engineering. With the growth of serial
storage interfaces Roger moved to Xyratex, working with SCSI interfaces, and
later the rapidly emerging Fibre Channel technology.
Roger now runs his own company, Talk Technical Ltd, distributing and
supporting a range of storage analyzers into EMEA, contributing development
expertise to the project, and provides development-consulting services to
various European customers.
