Neil Edmunds has been working with serial interfaces for 20 years. Since the advent of serial storage technologies he has played a wide variety of roles from contribution to the ANSI standards process through to hands-on management of interoperability and plugfest events for both Fibre Channel and SSA.

Having held positions as chairperson of IA interoperability groups in SSA and Fibre Channel, Neil has unrivalled experience in the Storage Area Networking environment.

As consultant to Xyratex, he has acted as a principle architect of some of the world’s leading Fibre Channel test instrumentation.

With a wealth of training experience and a down to earth view of what it takes to make new technology work, Neil provides an invaluable European based training capability for Solution Technology.
